Taj Mahal Trio & Idrissa Soumaoro, Brighton Dome

Thanks to Lenny I made four people (including myself) very happy on Wednesday evening, sitting in the circle of the Dome concert hall listening to Malian guitarist Idrissa Soumaoro and his group who included a percussionist who was playing what looked like from our height an upturned salad bowl. Taj Mahal and his trio gave the audience value for money with a broad set of blues songs and Malian-style blues playing.
