It was all just a very bad dream...

Right now, ER is on Channel Four. I have no TV. P is out this evening. Mum is not answering her phone. So maybe I won't get to see this week's episode. But y'know, I don't think I mind that much. ER, I am so so sorry to say it, has really dropped in quality this series. The script is simply dire. Those of you who know me well will know just how much this pains me.
I texted M about this the other day and he replied, "I have 2 admit i agree. bring back dr green... just like in dallas. it was all just a very bad dream!"

You could always try watching Casualty. Thats like ER I think. Or Holby City?

*Of course*, you taped it, PP!! Bless you X 1000 or so. Perhaps we could watch it together and share the utter disappointment...

Though, fair enough, Casualty used to be the centrepiece of my family Saturday evening gathering. Don't you just love being constantly immersed in imminent disaster and mishap...? I have never forgotten the episode with the broken squash racquet and the man's neck. A *most* unfortunate incident, yet utterly predictable, à la Casualty, of course...

Yeah, I know it's not as good as it used to be... but it still beats 95% of the other rubbish that gets shown on televison. And Leland Orser has just joined the cast, he's cool!

This week's episode was better. Prognosis is looking good...

Yes it was marginally better (as measured by my fewer glances towards my watch). But *can you belieeeeeeve* the way they wrote the lovely Elizabeth Corday so swiftly out of the script???!!! (She performs an illegal HIV positive organ transplant one week, and the next week she's gone...) Unbebloodylievable! She deserves a better (and more prolonged) farewell storyline, surely? Alas, she's not the only one missing Mark Greene... And now she's gone, who's left? I'm not sure Leland Orser can save us...

Corday is leaving because she knows it's s sinking ship. O the disappointment, o how the ER drummer must be counting out his last beats.
PS: If ANYONE says that Casualty is like ER they need their head checkin. It's like comparing Bollinger champagne to very murky tap water!

And what was DARLEEN from Roseanne doing on the show yesterday??! And she still looks like she's seventeen. ER has become a farce.

I'm enjoying it. But then I've missed three episodes already cos the novelty of taking time out to watch telly is so novel that I keep forgetting to do it.

Telly's that black thing in the corner - yeah? The thing attractively displaying my notebook on top of it...?

sorry, that was Esther btw.

Btw, reading this post made me realise I missed it again this week. Belatedly.

*sigh*
